FDTV — Self-Hosted OTT Streaming Platform
A multi-channel TV and radio streaming platform with pay-as-you-go coin pricing instead of subscriptions — engineered for the realities of Nigerian payment behaviour and bandwidth.

The brief
A Nigerian media operator wanted to launch a multi-channel TV and radio platform — but subscription fatigue was real, and credit card penetration low. The model had to be pay-as-you-go: buy coins, watch as much or as little as you want.
What I led
HLS adaptive bitrate streaming so the player drops to lower quality on a 3G connection without buffering. Coin ledger as double-entry, every debit auditable. Progressive Web App so users install without an app store. Operator console for channel uploads, scheduling, and ad inserts.
