As CTO at Every27, I'm responsible for the platform's technology direction — a multi-tenant payroll SaaS for Nigerian businesses with salary advances, employee wallets, and an AI-powered accounting assistant grounded in each company's own data.

CTO. I shape the platform’s technology direction — architecture, AI features, data model, integrations. The product handles serious payroll operations for Nigerian SMEs, so the engineering bar is set deliberately high.
The platform
- Multi-tenant SaaS — every company onboarded gets a fully isolated workspace
- Automated payroll — Nigerian-specific PAYE, pension, statutory deductions
- Salary advances — employees draw against accrued salary with employer-controlled policy
- Employee wallets — Paystack-backed digital wallets
- AI accounting assistant — AI-powered, grounded in each company’s payroll data. A finance lead can ask “What was my total PAYE liability last quarter?” and get a real number, not a guess.
Why this matters
Most global payroll SaaS doesn’t model the Nigerian tax code, employer-policy advances, or the operational realities of a 30-person Lagos business. Every27 was built native to those constraints. The AI assistant takes it a step further — instead of every finance lead googling tax answers at 2am, they ask the platform.
This is what a domain-native payroll platform built in Africa looks like in 2026.
